WHO WE ARE
Real Creative Company to build bridges into uncharted landscapes.
We, Kichi-To-Michi (meaning the known and the unknown) are a genuinely creative company led by ASAI Kunihiko,
whose works extend to restoring cultural heritage and traditional folk residence, creating tree houses,
and other installation. The company is building bridges into uncharted landscapes,
with our authentic skills originating from MIYADAIKU (shrine/ temple carpentry) and novel, breakthrough ideas.
WHAT WE DO
01Renovating traditional folk residence and cultural heritage
We can propose how to renovate old houses and cultural heritage while preserving its values. Such treatment of these buildings requires special experience and skills. Let’s creaate a future where good old history continues to breath in our communities.
02Designing and building tree houses
Tree houses build on live trees are a playground away from business as usual. They can be a tourist attraction as well as a stage for gathering family members and friends or organizational/ human resource development.
03Renovation using sailboats, old warehouses, wood trunks, etc.
This area is where our arts and skills culminate. Please try us with even the most challenging, fiendish type of orders. We look forward to hearing from overseas as well.
04Making creative uses of unmanned islets and vast areas of idle lands
If you ever plant to purchase an entire island and creating something special or gathering people, just let us know when the first idea comes up to your mind. We will walk your dream side by side from creating buildings and whole landscape to installing art works and greenery.
05Spatial art and installations
We will propose and collaborate with you about iconic art works featured in a commercial center or an event.
06Desigining and constructing event venues
We assist planning venues for music festivals and other large-scale events, with our knowledge base on architecture, creative sense for artwork, and experience in missions impossible, such that all people there can come together as one.
07Designing and constructing new houses
Of course, we can build new houses too. Let’s create an original work unique in the world!
08Designing and constructing offices and shops
While designing the building, we integrate and systemize the components that improve wellbeing among staff and naturally attract customers.
